Awareness-raising training (1.5 days) for any practitioner or interested individual. Training includes:
- Definitions of domestic abuse
- How domestic abuse affects women and families from BME communities
- How domestic abuse affects BME children and young people
- The concept of ‘honour’ and how it affects BME women experiencing domestic abuse
- Forced marriage
- Immigration issues including entitlement to support
- Structures and policy
